An All Suck Review of . . .
Song Reviewed
Carol Said So

Carol Said So

So I'm not exactly sure what Carol said or why she thinks she can put her foot down....but this track is actually pretty damn good!!  I mean, I thought it was gonna suck like most (no...all) of the tracks I review do....hence the title "All Suck Review" - but Carol Said So  was pretty damn good!!

I know I'm going to disappoint folks who thought I was going to slam this track for all the sucktitude that suck tracks have to offer - but I can't.  There is just something about the unassuming bass line that runs through this track to the infectiously catchy melody that makes this track stick with you.

It's not often I am so taken with a track so quickly, but this track musically takes you places that you either have never been - or to places you have been to but you haven't had the chance to get back there in a long time and it's familiar like that old pair of broken in blue jeans that you just think are the best things since sliced bread.

And the lyrics...they are golden.  They are very intelligent but, again, unassuming.  It's very elevated but at the same time stays right down to earth and speaks a language that you understand.  The only other way to describe this track is to say very close to brilliant and...uh....hey...wait a minute!!

Oh - ooops!!   I was listening to one of  my songs!!

Hold on...sorry, I clicked the wrong button.  My bad!!  Guess I was having a little too much holiday cheer!!  Let me go ahead and play Carol Said So...maybe it will turn out alright.

Oh shit!!
